About
“What if instead of belonging nowhere, you really belonged everywhere?” This is what a wise mentor told me 3 short years ago. I have aspired to take these words to heart ever since.
I am from Toronto, Canada but deeply feel at home anywhere there is sunshine, coffee, and warmhearted people. I have a BA in history and philosophy from the University of Toronto and MFA in writing for musical theatre from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. I never knew how all of these seemingly unrelated disciplines could came together and contribute positively to the world until I discovered mindfulness and meditation. I would soon come to find that our inherent interconnectivity, impermanence, and universal quest for belonging is what makes both a great story, and a ripe foundation for contemplation and a more easeful life.
I am currently pursuing an MA in mindfulness studies at Lesley University and am in the mindfulness for teens teacher training program through Inward Bound Mindfulness Education (iBme). I am also a freelancer editor with OneLocal in Toronto and a podcast contributor to the Atleto Beyond Sports App discussing mindfulness and meditation for college students.
